Thank you for choosing to share a most personal collection of lyrics and emotions - and by doing so, allowing us (the fans) to walk this journey with you. Surely not an easy decision. It is an honor. 💗
I lost my cat around the time of BHWA’s release. He meant the world to me, so BHWA helped me through that dark time of my life. I am eternally grateful for this record, and everything it brought to the table.
This really is the most beautiful collection of songs to honour two very special people… and also for many of us who have also lost our own special people. Many of us feel so connected to the lyrics, I did burst into tears the first time I heard Rest.
The Teacher really is a masterpiece and is now one of my favourite songs ever, watching it live is a goosebump moment.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, lyrics and beautiful music with us. I can’t imagine how hard to was to record but we all appreciate it so much ❤️
This is my Wasting Light II. Perfection brought from raw emotion. We didn’t know if there would ever be more. Damn glad there is. Thank you guys for this trip down memory lane. Now, ON TO THE FUTURE!!!
I cry at some point almost every time I listen to this and I don’t mind at all. Joint favourite album for me. The Teacher is the most amazing track to see live.
The experience of listening to this record at sunrise, in Lisbon with the quiet river mirroring the sky will forever be engraved in my mind. It was as a living representation of this album's cover: Peaceful, hopeful. Everyone there was experiencing it the same way. Just fully present in the moment, contemplating it all in silence. I'll be forever thankful for this.
My dad passed just under a month after Taylor. This entire album was like a salve for my heart and soul.
I had held off listening when it first came out because I knew it would be an emotional ride. One Saturday I popped my airpods in and gave it a go while I cleaned my house.
Once I got to The Teacher, I was frozen. I didn't even realize Rest was a separate track until I went back to listen again. In a strange way, The Teacher felt like a tribute to my dad, and Rest a tribute to my mom.
I am so grateful for this music. Thank you Foos! xo
Boy did this album hit hard. The emotion of listening to this at sunrise on it’s release was so powerful and cathartic. For me it really solidified that the Foo’s are here for their fans as this album helped us all heal together ❤️
To the band: This album said so much about the sheer power of two relationships deeply rooted in admiration, respect, passion and love. Thank you for the plain speech even though some cannot hear. Thank you that even the music possesses those feelings. wow, just wow❤️🫶🏾

Only way you were getting this NYC girlie to NH was a FF opening show of the tour!
Watching the Hawk’s tribute show was such an experience. Miss him. Can’t believe it’s been over three years already.
Is there a way to rewatch?
Not that I know of, other than youtube clips of meh quality. Maybe someday?

A ‘Healing’ album. Still can’t get through ‘Rest’ without shedding a tear.

Such a beautiful album. Honouring two people in Taylor and Dave's mum. This album is brilliant, thoughtful, emotional but kicks ass.
Never did I ever think I'd be using it as a grief mechanism after losing my dad last year 😔
Thank you boys for continuing after such huge losses. 🤍
Very sorry for your loss of your dad. Hope you're finding peace.
Thank you 🙏🏻
