Sadly, a goodbye. This feels like their version of a presidential library.

I hope I'm wrong.

I thought I wouldn’t like it much cuz i heard it was a dance rock album, but at heart its still the foos.

Some obviously didnt strike, but there were still some foo classics like Holding Poison, No Son Of Mine, etc. It was actually a pretty good album.

With this record, the Foo Fighters proved they're even cooler than The Fonz, because unlike him, when they jump the shark they actually make it look good.

I saw them play the re-opening of the 9:30 Club in DC after lockdown was lifted in September 2021. A club show, 1200 people, half of whom were probably Dave's friends and family. It was transcendent and cathartic, proof the pandemic was really over and it wasn't the end of the world. They played Aurora and really went of the setlist and played Weenie Beanie when somebody from the audience requested it. It was clear it wasn't a planned departure from the setlist but a legit off-the-cuff because we had to wait while their techs re-tuned the guitars. That show was where Dave first spilled the beans about The Atlantis opening next door, the tribute club to the original 9:30 Club's humble, crowded, rancid beginnings on F St.

Taylor was behind the kit, and all that love between him and Dave spilled over the stage into the crowd. That was the last time I saw them live, and I think it'll remain the last time I see them live. I'd rather that be my last memory of a Foos show. It won't be the same without Taylor.

First of all you really got us with the haunted house thing 🤣👻

In the end the delay meant the album release landed at the right time for me. I was back in the UK after my Mum passed and new music was so welcomed. The promo interviews really were a ray of light each day at such a difficult time.

Title track is my fav and it was so good to hear it live in Geelong. Thank you so much for coming to do that show, it meant the world to us after two long hard years. Even flew back from a holiday for one night to go! It was a bit surreal being back in a stadium again as there were times we thought we’d never get that again. Weird and strange times…

The jamming-est album ever! Holding Poison was the first earworm I heard before I knew who the Foos really were!
